Did you know that if you have a Google Pixel or Android phone with the latest Pie operating system that you can search from the phone app for the business you want to call without visiting the web or Google Maps first?

You can choose to enable this feature in the phone app settings. Open the Phone app, tap on the vertical three dots, that’s the Menu symbol, tap on Nearby places. Tap, don’t slide, the two sliders to turn them on for Nearby places and Personalized Search Results. Under Location settings, Use Location should be allowed for Phone app. Close all windows on phone. Open Phone app and as long as you have GPS and Data/WiFi turned on, you can search for the business name in the place that you search for contact names. Tap on the business name and address to start the call.
