Thank you, Jesus, for 36 great years with my Dad. He left for Heaven on Saturday, May 26, 2018, at 2:32 p.m. after 83.5 years peacefully in sleep. I’m confident of one fact, I will join you later at the throne of God singing the Hallelujah chorus together. Your jokes, laughs, and smiles were contagious. A backscratch every night since I was one helped me sleep well. Hey Pa, I will miss you but I know you are at the banquet hall enjoying a small slice of homemade cherry pie or leading a Sunday school class as you did on this side of Heaven. Thank you for showing me how to love Jesus Christ with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength, and love my neighbor as myself.
