I have toyed with the idea of closing my Facebook account but….

A long time ago in a galaxy far away, I didn’t use Facebook. I used a dumb flip phone and was quite content with it. Then I started making friends who didn’t live on this side of the pond, my work required it, and eventually there was a reason for Facebook because it was hard to communicate with these long-distance friends who only used it (not email) and used other apps that I did not use at the time. And then there is family and seeing the next cute photo, but just not that, some level of privacy (no, not really) came with it.
