Many years have I been dancing around new programming languages. I suppose I didn’t have enough interest in them. But now because of the pandemic, thanks to Jesus Christ, I’ve had more work to do than ever before. And in these times, I’ve been presented with new ideas that encourage me to pick up new languages.

I’m learning React Native to build iOS and Android apps. My current future projects is using a headless WordPress website to provide the content for a church app. I’m building it with Expo.

And I’ve just finished creating a custom WordPress plugin that uses the Settings API and a custom page template.

I hope to have more projects that show me that I can learn new languages. I’m surprised by how short of time it actually takes me to pick up these talents when I actually dive into the documentation.
