The latest pitch that has given me joy. A friend pointed me to an idea for an app for a church. I right away went with React Native as I had two years before looked at it with interest but at that time never had an idea as good as this to build an app for iOS and Android.

Last weekend, I’m jumped into the deep end of app development. Looking for key methods to solve the problems within the church app. Then comparing a sample app with another church app and seeing that lots of shortcuts were taken. And I found a React Native teacher that really explains it well. After two hours today into the tutorial, it appears easy.

I’m excited, if only for myself, to add one more tool to my skill set.
