About two weeks ago, I came home from the late evening church service. As I usually do any night, I prayed for a safe journey home and when I got home, this night, I looked up into the night sky and paused to gaze into God’s creation and realize how small I was. One of the songs we had sung in church was “How Great Is Our God.” This song came to mind as I gazed up into the night. In an act of humbleness and awe of His creation, I quietly voiced, “how great is our God.” Without realizing what was happening, a shooting star with a long-white tail flew over and disappeared behind the tree tops.
To me the message from my God to my heart, from this falling star, seemed to say that He still was watching over me.
