Pulled out a file from 2015 in Capture One Pro after upgrading my license. I had edited this into a monochrome at one time. This was from one of my first road trips with photographer Michael Hutchinson down to Gaffney, South Carolina. I wrestled with the colors, balance, and cropping to finally arrive at a stopping point. I call this The Exclusive Shot.

It’s good to go back and revisit old images with a fresh eye. I like the pops of red down the middle of the frame.

Thank you for dropping by, Robert. I was feeling like my creativity was going away because of being bored with my photography journey. Capture One Pro version 21 feels like a new tool after having used version 10 back in 2015 when it came with my Sony a6000 camera. It feels like a new tool because of masks and tooltips. It’s smoother than it used to be and runs fast, pleasantly.

This is a very interesting image Daniel. I like the colours and tones and shadows. What is the story with the man in the middle of the road?

Khürt, there’s a link on Michael’s name to learn more about his style of photography. The photo composition I made has a double entente.

I love the layers of the photo, with a fresh pop of red. Superb.
